Chambor Extreme Wear Transferproof Liquid Lipstick 483 Review

By  |  2 Comments

Its been a while that I did any beauty product review as I’m busy with other posts and my regular work. As most of you know I do not use much of make up but I love lipsticks hence have done multiple posts about it. In my quest of good Matte lip sticks, I came across this Chambor Extreme Wear Transferproof Liquid Lipstick. I had used Liquid lipstick earlier but that one made my lips very dry within a hour of application. But I had heard a lot about this Chambor range hence I picked one myself along with two more lipsticks in different range which I shall talk about later on.

Chambor Extreme Wear Transferproof Liquid Lipstick 483 Review

I wanted to pick up lipstick from brown shades and the tricky part of brown lipsticks are you need to understand which brown would suit your skin tone. For someone with fairer skin tone any brown which is lighter or darker in shade suits, If you have a brown skin like me its a bit tricky. I initially tried the darkest of the brown they had got which was more like chocolate shade and my lip and skin color matched so I said a big no to it. Chambor Extreme Wear Transferproof Liquid Lipstick in 483 is a one of a kind that finally ended my hunt.

Price:

My Experience and Swatches:

It has a great packaging, comes in a rectangular flat tube with transparent body and black cap. You can see the lipstick shade through the transparent body. This comes covered in a black box with the lipstick details on it. All the shades just have numbers but no names associated with it.

It is a liquid based lip colour with a good pigmentation and great coverage, I see a great coverage with just one stroke. It has very smooth texture but not very creamy, the applicator glides smoothly onto the lips and ensures an even coat.It has absolutely no shimmer.

They have semi solid consistency which set very quickly.Unlike some other brands, you don’t need to worry on hurrying the application. It gives you enough time to apply properly without drying. The formula is weightless and really light.

It is available in 18 shades, and all are unique. Reds, pinks, Browns or nudes – the choice is yours. From the first application, it looks very much matte and looks very elegant and stays the same for long hours. As they Claim it lasts longer, it lasted for 8 hours which included me drinking , eating and doing no touch ups. It does not transfer off easily, hence its quite a task while removing it. It makes the lip dry after 4-5 hours of the application. It is suggested to wear a lip balm 5 to 10 minutes before applying this lipstick which makes application easier and keeps the lip moisturised.

This 483 Shade is less of brown and more of pink due to its pink undertones. You can opt for 482 shade if you want more browner shade.

It is an expensive product but worth the buy.

Availability: Stores and Online

TEC Verdict: 4.5/5

I would definitely recommend you to go pick one of the shades from this range if you are fan of Matte lipstick, I already made a friend buy one of these and she loves it.
