Three Lipstick Shades to try this Festive Season

By  |  6 Comments

Lots of Food, Lights, Meeting friends and family, playing dress up shall begin as the festive Season is here. Apart from picking out the best outfits, we also have to think of putting on the right make up which looks festive yet compliment your clothing. Today, I’m gonna showcase a few lipstick shades that I am currently loving and think will go best with ethnic outfits on festival.

Lipsticks Make your smile colorful!

  • Sephora Flash Jumbo Lip Pencil – 03 Fast Fuschia
It is a creamy Matt lipstick and glides easily on the lips easily. I have a dry lips but this lipstick kept it moisturized for long.  The Fuschia shade looks almost like a bright pink after application and has good pigmentation. You can use this as a lip liner along with other glossy or Matt lipstick as well. It lasts for good 4-5 hours. This shade shall compliment any Indian outfit you would choose!

  • Etos Color Care Matte Lipstick – Vampires Kiss
This affordable beauty I picked up in the Netherlands and it has good pigmentation. This vampire kiss shade is in between orange and red and brightens up your whole face. Instead of going for the usual red for festivals, try such a shade which looks different yet brightens up the whole look. Only con is it won’t last long and is easily transferable. You can get similar shade is Maybelline Color Show range as well in India.IMG_20171017_162130

  • KIKO Milano Creamy Lipstick – 06 Blackberry
Its creamy, enveloping texture leaves lips with a feeling of ultra-long-lasting softness and comfort. The color of the lipstick looks almost black but when applied, it looks like a pretty berry. It is a magenta wine shade and it complements any skin tone perfectly. If you are planning to wear lighter tone clothes like off-white, pink or whites for the festival, you can compliment it with this darker shade. It will even compliment black outfit!IMG_20171017_115118_01
